The first loan was made to <a title="Kiva Loans" href="http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=30157" target="_blank">Layla Abou Ghida</a>, the loan was made through <a href="http://www.kiva.org/">Kiva.org</a>.</p> <p><a href="http://www.hosernews.ca/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/1084331.jpg"></a></p> <blockquote> <p style="text-align: justify;"> <p style="text-align: justify;">Layla is a 41 year-old mother of 3. She lives with her family in south Lebanon, in the region of Nabatieh. This is the second time Layla is asking for a loan from Al Majmoua. She needs to buy new merchandise for her accessories store. Layla does not only limit her business to accessories sales but also works in the make-up sector.</p> </blockquote> <p style="text-align: justify;">The latest payment was made on April 15, 2008, and I can’t see any reason not to have all of the payments made on time.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">I will continue to be making at least one donation every month for the forseeable future.
