The Awesome Place to Hang out
Without ever hitting the highway. That is the dream of the East Coast Gateway that I heard about by going through my reader and stumbling upon this post by Nyall Engfield of the Canadian Cycling Blog.
The East Coast Gateway crew really needs to do some work on their site though.

First off that was an amazing game, finially Montreal came out flying, and kept going right to the end. And when Boston got some life to them Price simply shut the door. This was much better than the game on Saturday which I went to a local bar with a Boston fan friend and got razed pretty bad.
At least 16 people were detained after riotous celebrations swept through downtown Montreal beginning late Monday, leaving a trail of burned police cars and vandalized shops.
Now what is it with people thinking that it would be a good idea to celebrate by burning cop cars? To me this seems like the most stupid idea, no matter how drunk I may be. I can see celebrating by drinking more, yealling, etc however I don’t see any celebration in throwing bottles and burning shit. It simply doesn’t make sense.
As some of you may know, back in January I began to use some of the meager profit from the site to help others. The first loan was made to Layla Abou Ghida, the loan was made through Kiva.org.
Layla is a 41 year-old mother of 3. She lives with her family in south Lebanon, in the region of Nabatieh. This is the second time Layla is asking for a loan from Al Majmoua. She needs to buy new merchandise for her accessories store. Layla does not only limit her business to accessories sales but also works in the make-up sector.
The latest payment was made on April 15, 2008, and I can’t see any reason not to have all of the payments made on time.
I will continue to be making at least one donation every month for the forseeable future. If you see a business that you think we should invest in please let me know.
Alright, I have done it. I have gone full circle and am now back to being a blog. Don’t worry though, the forum/messageboard is still alive, I have just changed the front page.
I am going to be much more active posting on the blog, and I am going to be looking for others to help me out with the site. For those that are registered with the site, you don’t have to do much to post.

I was thinking last night that there are a lot of interesting people in the world, and they are usually not the ones that you hear a lot about. I don’t think that Paris Hilton or Spears are very “interesting”.
So what I am going to do is make a post about some of the people that I find interesting and why. Some of them are muscians, politicians (although there are not a lot of them) and just people that I have met. If they are a public figure I will be sure to mention who they are and where you can support them, if they aren’t well….I will be secretive.
