On, my stroll on the waterfront at lunch I noticed that they are getting ready for the Offshore Picnic on Friday. There is a lot of work to get all of those Port-a-pottys over there. I hope that I get a ticket this year, although I doubt it. There always seems to be something that gets in the way. Last year it was my boss having me do something last minute when someone stopped by to give me one, and the year before that I wasn’t in town.
Another beautiful day in Halifax, however I seem to be a day behind in my dress. I wore short sleeves yesterday, and was cold, and today I wore long sleeves and am cooking.
If you don’t know what the offshore picnic is, it is a “Trade Show” that OTANS puts on every year to get plublicity. In all actuality it is a great big party.

All the oil and gas tycoons with an open bar? I'll say it's a good party! The festive Metro Transit ferry-loads coming off the island proves that pretty nicely.
Well it seems that my prediction that I am not getting a ticket is coming true, at least so far.
There are a bunch of admins going which really pisses me off, but hey….I am not going around beging for tickets either.
